Halloweed Shirts for the Spooky Side Quest
The Dankmaster General · October 14, 2026
The good lighter has vanished beneath a flannel sleeve, somebody has parked a mug directly on the rogue's character sheet, and the dice are rolling like they have tiny union protections. This is not a night for a plain shirt. Plain shirts have their place, presumably at meetings where nobody brings snacks. Campaign night deserves a little cemetery nonsense.
Spooky Season Is a Tabletop Setting
The best kind of October mood is not polished. It is a bowl of candy with exactly six decent pieces left, rain ticking at the window, and a wizard player insisting their familiar can absolutely carry a whole sandwich. A Halloweed shirt belongs in that mess like a d20 belongs in the couch cushions: inevitable, slightly mysterious, and probably sticky for reasons nobody should investigate.
Respect the Ancient Art of the Bad Pun
A good weed joke should arrive wearing a little cape and carrying a cursed amulet. It should know it is silly. The Devil's Lettuce commits to the bit with the confidence of a bard who has already started writing their victory ballad before initiative is rolled. Correct behavior, frankly.
The Vibe Is Crypt Keeper With Snacks
Some people want spooky season to be sleek black candles and dramatic silence. Those people are welcome to their silent candle administration. We prefer skeletons, jars, dice trays, and the unmistakable crunch of someone opening chips during a heartfelt NPC monologue. Ghost of Jars Past has the proper haunted-cupboard energy for a table where the party keeps adopting cursed objects because they seem nice.
Dress for the Long Rest
The campaign can wait five minutes while everyone finds their missing pencil. No rush. The dragon's not going anywhere, and neither is the pile of snacks guarded by the person who brought them. Pull on Skele-Toke, settle into the low chair that definitely needs a blanket, and let the evening get weird in a well-organized, character-sheet-adjacent way.
Roll high. Sit low.
